After a long career in Chiropody, Veronica Bower M. ch.S HPC is taking well earnt retirement. Veronica trained at Manchester Foot Hospital & qualified in September 1954. Then went to work for Franklin Charlesworth (pioneer in orthotics) both at his private practice and at his clinic at Hope Hospital, Salford. There she helped make appliances for foot deformities.

After 6 years, Veronica went back to Manchester Foot hospital on clinical staff and supervised students. There she remained until moving to Seaford in 1965. After taking some time out with her young family, Veronica started working at the clinic (now Horder centre) in Sutton Road, Seaford. Eventually the clinic moved to the new Health centre, where Veronica worked 2 days a week as well as in a private practice.

Veronica joined Mike Lemon and the team at Seaford Osteopathic clinic in 1972 and has worked here until her retirement now in March 2017!

Lucy Tewkesbury BSc Hons M.ch.S PGCert HCPC registered.

Lucy graduated from the University of Brighton in 2008 with a BSc Hons including Local Anaesthetics and Prescription only medicines, she continued her study gaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Podiatry. Lucy’s practice experience includes rheumatology, paediatrics, diabetes, nail surgery and biomechanics. She is a full member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrist, HCPC registered and an Accredited Clinical Educator. Lucy enjoys using her broad range of skills to treat all problem feet from purely nails to the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of complex foot pathology.

She is married with a young family and enjoys long walks, reading and yoga.
